A Homer Simpson Moment

The reformatted blog was up, and I was happy with the design. By picking a new template, and moving elements around, I'd finally be able update the blog regularly without moving important news to the archive. The redesign went off without a hitch... Or so I thought.

My weekend buzz was soon replaced with shock. Ever since adding the Analytics script, our daily visits had never dipped below ten before. Imagine my surprise upon seeing that, for two days, there were no visits!

What the heck happened?! Did our visitors hate the new layout? Were our emails turning potential clients off? Most importantly, how could we win people back? Then it hit me. It was much simpler than that. By changing the template, I had inadvertently erased my precious Analytics script. D'OH!
