It's disappointing to see that the number is less than the 58,000 that we pledged. There were, however, still over 8,000,000 downloads worldwide, so, all in all, Download Day 2008 looks to be a great success. All that's left is for the Guinness Records people to verify the results.Why was it so important to help Mozilla set the record? I believe it's just a good way to say, "Thank you, and keep up the good work!" Personally, I downloaded the US English version for Windows, Mac and Linux. I also spread the word around the office, and told friends through SMS. How about you? How did you participate?
